Oniscus asellus "Skirted isopod"
Oniscus asellus, commonly known as the "skirted isopod", is a difficult species for some to keep, as they do not tolerate temperature fluctuations well. They can thrive in temps in the mid to high 70sF, but seem to prefer lower temperatures below 72F. They reach an impressive size considering they are not a protein hungry species and are relatively docile tank inhabitants.
