Similar to Porcellio scaber "lottery ticket", "gem mix" is a hodge podge of vulgare morphs. Wild type, orange vigor, and magic potion are all visible in this mix. Many members have an increased expression of large yellow spotting.
Vulgare do well in temperate and semi-arid environments. They are not recommended for tropical due to issues molting in high humidity. They enjoy eating many soft bodied plants.
