Armadillidium ruffoi is a beautiful species of isopod native to the mountains of Italy. They have a body speckled in yellow dots, framed in a white skirt.
This species does breed very slowly, and is a great option for people who are concerned with being overwhelmed with overpopulated isopods. They like lots of ventilation and airflow. They benefit from at least half of the enclosure being moist, and lots of decaying wood and leaves.
