Armadillidium pulchellum is a very small species of Armadillidium, even smaller than that of Venezillo parvus. Adults reach only 5mm at their peak! Sizing aside, pulchellum have beautiful red markings outlining their segments and splashes of white and yellow across the back. Pulchellum, unlike other Armadillidium typically do not burrow and are found traipsing throughout the leaf litter rather than their substrate.
Pulchellum do well in tropical to temperate environments.
