A. klugii, also called the "clown isopod" is a beautiful example of the natural color range of isopods. These are the descendants of a locale of klugii collected in a country of the Balkans called Montenegro. Members of our particular culture display a reduced red coloring and may have yellow or white spotting.
Klugii do well in temperate to semi-arid environments. They may have issues molting in tropical environments, and like to eat soft bodied plants.
